What happens to medicines that cannot be packed into pill boxes?
Medicines that cannot be packed into pill boxes, for example creams, inhalers, patches, liquids, things that are taken only when required (e.g. painkillers) etc… are dispensed and delivered as they are alongside the pill boxes.

How long does it take for my pill boxes to arrive?
Upon receipt of your prescription for the first time it will take 24-48 hours for us to make up the pill boxes. The pill boxes will then be sent out for next day delivery. For subsequent supplies we will always aim to send out your pill boxes during the last week or two of your existing set of pill boxes. We will call you the day before your pack arrives to make sure you are able to take collection of the delivery.

II do not want my medication packed into pill boxes Is it still possible to have them collected and delivered by Pillbox UK?
Yes! Just fill in the online form and when we contact you to arrange the service, let us know that you do not wish to have the medication in pill boxes. We will order and deliver your prescription each month without packing it into pill boxes for free.

What happens if I normally get two months worth of medication on my prescription?
We would send you 8 weeks’ worth of medication each time. We may also try to contact your doctor and arrange for a monthly prescription instead, therefore you would receive 4 weeks’ worth of medication at a time instead.

What happens if I run out of medication or lose one of my pill boxes?
If you mislay your pill boxes or run out of medication you will need to call us immediately on
0800 112 3147. We will try to assist you in any way possible to make sure you are not left short of your important medication.

What happens if my medication changes mid way through a set of pill boxes'?
If your medication changes mid way through one of your pill boxes you need to contact us on
0800 112 3147 as soon as possible. We will advise you on the best course of action. Depending on what the change to your medication is and how urgent it needs to be implemented you may need a new set of pill boxes or you may be able to continue to use your existing ones and supplement them with new medication until your next set of pill boxes are due.
